Karon Relief and Development Foundation
Karon Relief and Development Foundation is a nonprofit organization, duly registered and permitted by both the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, and the NonGovernmental Organizations Bureau of Uganda. The organization has been in operation since 2018 and has created numerous relief and developmental projects for the Ugandan People.
Our comprehensive approach encompasses education, vocational training, healthcare, financial literacy, environmental sustainability agriculture, and gender equality initiatives.
Services
Vocational Training
Karon Relief and Development Foundation offers vocational training programs aimed at equipping individuals with practical skills to enhance employability and self-reliance.
Education support
We are sponsoring 183 Orphans and Vulnerable Children in School across Uganda at all levels of Education. With this project, needy children are given a chance
Emerald Primary School
Emerald Nursery and Primary School in Mukono is a safe haven for more than 320 orphans 240 children from low-income homes.
Functional Adult Literacy Training
Our functional adult literacy programs empower adults with basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills. We design these programs to be practical and relevant, helping adults improve their daily lives and economic opportunities
Enterprise Development Training
We provide enterprise development training to support aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners. Our programs include workshops on business planning, marketing, financial management, and customer service.
Plastic Waste Management
Karon Relief has been at the forefront of fighting the plight of Pollution and Indiscriminate Plastic Waste Disposal in Kampala, by advocating against Single Use Plastic Bags, teaching the dangers and effects of Plastic Use
